Last March 14, 2008, a wine tasting event was held simultaneously with the launch of the San Marino Consulate General office in the Philippines. The event was attended by the local wine dealers, hoteliers, wine connoisseurs, members of the diplomatic corps and media.

The event showcased San Marino and its world-renowned wines, resulting to inquiries and possible sales orders from local companies. Presently, Philippines wine dealers are referred to the San Marino wine consortium to further promote bilateral trade relations between the two countries.
