San Marino Cultural Awareness Day with the Philippine Women's University

The Consular Office of the Republic of San Marino opened its doors to the first cultural awareness held for college students last January 25, 2012. Students from the Philippine Women’s University – School of Tourism were welcomed by the Honorary Consul General Jean Henri Lhuillier at the Consular Office located in Makati City.
30 Tourism students accompanied by the Philippine Women’s University Tourism Program Coordinator Carolina Roces, Philippine Women’s University Professor Josephine Soliman, and Philippine Women’s University Department Director for Sports Marielle Benitez were introduced to the oldest republic in the world. Consul General Jean Henri Lhuillier with Consulate Secretary Ms. Leonor Petra G. Elepaño showcased the products of San Marino, as well as its rich history and heritage.
The Philippine Women’s University – School of Tourism launched its operation in 2006 and aims to make a difference by being accredited with the internationally prestigious UNWTO TEDQUAL (Tourism Education Quality) Certification System.
